April Norris Certified Hypnotist

Our Certified Hypnotist, April Norris, is originally from Chicago where she spent many years as a coach and mentor to children. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology from The University of Louisville in 1998 graduating with honors after only three years. During that time she was recognized as a Scholar Athlete who’s Division one soccer team finished first in Conference USA in 1995. April currently holds 2 goal keeping records for the University Women’s soccer team.

April's interest in mind-body medicine was sparked after studying the works of Albert Einstein, Carl Jung, Ken Wilbur, Deepak Chopra, and many others. When introduced to the tool of hypnosis, April knew the path she was to embark on was one of a lifetime of learning.

April was certified in Hypnosis with the National Guild Of Hypnotists in 1999 and has since over 900 course hours in hypnotherapy including regression, clinical, forensic and child/adolescent, hypnobirthing specialties.

April has trained at the Omni Hypnosis Training Center with one of the greats--Gerald Kein who in his distinguished career has trained masters in the field such as Steven Parkhill author of Answer Cancer: the Healing of a Nation and Dr. Brian Weiss author of Many Lives Many Masters.

April is a Board Certified Member of the National Board of Hypnosis Education and Certification, a member of the National Federation of Hypnotists and is currently receiving advanced healing training for disease with Steven Parkhill.

She is also certified as a Pastoral Counselor by the Florida Religious Studies Institute and continues work on her Masters Degree.

April’s curiosity about consciousness as well as science and spirituality has led her to study energy healing which led her to become a Master Usui-Tibetan Reiki practitioner. She has also completed the training for and obtained her Ministers license.

April chose this inspiring healing profession because of her passion for learning, and the amazing possibilities of personal transformation. April has spent many years studying and sees great value in helping individual’s to explore their inner world.
